4. Meeting with Moosehead Riders Snowmobile Club, RE: Trail Access Issues: Members of the snowmobile club have asked to address the Board of Selectmen regarding trail access both in Greenville along outer Scammon Road and also across land in Beaver Cove which is currently up for sale through LandVest (see attached). If these two sections of trail were lost to the ITS system, Greenville would be very isolated in its trail program. I have asked the snowmobile club members to meet with me and any of the Board members whoa re available for an informational meeting at 5:00 PM, with any necessary action to be taken at the 6:00 PM meeting through this agenda item.

6. Mil Rate Selection: Town Clerk Roxanne Lizotte, RJD Appraisals Assessor Bobby DuPlissea and I concur that the best course of action is to flat fund the mil rate this year utilizing a total assessed value of roughly $155 million; using all of the estimated revenue share amount plus $75,000 more from our surplus revenue share account; use only $25,000 from unappropriated surplus ($50,000 less than budgeted & appropriated); and create a mil rate of $19.70 and an overlay of roughly $20,000, as projected. We recommend this scenario.

He is seeking clemency from the ticket he received for leaving trash at the entrance to Shoals Road after a sign was placed there prohibiting such action. Mr. Kinner met with me and I urged him to write this letter, which I agreed to forward to the Board of Selectmen. I seek direction from the Board.
