4. Paper Streets: Code Enforcement Officer Richard Gould has asked to address the Board about paper streets and some recommended actions.

5. Small Schools Coalition: This Coalition has been created to address the discrepancies in funding between small and large schools through the implementation of last year’s LD #1 legislation, as well as the implementation of the Essential Programs and Services (EPS) model for school fund distribution. Richard Gould will present details of this coalition to the Board of Selectmen for possible membership.

6. Proposed Moosehead Council of Governments Update: There is a meeting of representatives of the Greenville, Shirley and Beaver Cove Selectmen Tuesday, January 31 in Beaver Cove. Details of these discussions to develop a planning organization for regional infrastructure and services will be shared at the Greenville Selectmen’s Meeting.

7. Letter to Plum Creek: A draft will be sent to the members of the Board of Selectmen prior to the Selectmen’s Meeting. The purpose of the letter is to outline the Town’s concerns and suggestions for the Plum Creek plan as decided at last week’s meeting. I suggest a copy of this letter be sent to LURC, as well as to the surrounding communities.

8. Letter to Burnt Jacket: A draft will be sent to the members of the Board of Selectmen prior to the Selectmen’s Meeting. The purpose of the letter is to outline the Town’s concerns and suggestions for Hank MacPherson’s Burnt Jacket proposal as decided at last week’s meeting. I suggest a copy of this letter be sent to LURC as well as to the surrounding communities.

10. Junction Wharf and Hollingsworth and Whitney Wharf Reconstruction Project: I will have updates on these on-going efforts to fix up these publicly and privately held wharfs.

11. Bid Process for Gas and Diesel: I believe it would be in the Town’s best interest to solicit competitive prices for gas and diesel (on-road and off-road) for Town vehicles and equipment. How the procurement process should be conducted, and when the bid process should begin, should be discussed.
